Switzerland!

Totally Awesome!

Though words cannot really express what it is like to go on your first trip to Europe and visit of all places, Switzerland. Do I really need to see anything else in Europe now? It is well known throughout the world that Switzerland is the most beautiful country in Europe and that because it has a mix of French, Italian and German cultures you get a little bit of everything there. It was amazing! The Alps are everything you would expect and more, and the skiing is incredible. Everywhere you look you see the beautiful mountains towering over quaint towns filled with Swiss cheeses, chocolates and wines (all of which are the finest in Europe.) The train system is the best I've ever seen and traveling across the country is a breeze. There are lakes and vineyards everywhere and everyone is always so polite and cheerful. If anyone is planning to take a trip to Europe in their lifetime, I highly recommend Switzerland.

So what did we do on this trip? In so few words, ate (A LOT), drank (A LOT), partied in Zurich for New Years, skied, tried fondue, smoked a cigar, shopped til we dropped, rode the trains everywhere, took way too many pictures, stayed up for 34 hours (major jetlag!), climbed a mountain to an unfortunately locked castle, admired the history, celebrated Misty's birthday!, took in the culture, fell in love with a German band of 15 year olds called Tokio Hotel (check them out!), and just had the vacation of a lifetime! This was the last vacation my dad said he will ever take us on, and it was by far the best!
